A useful site should
be easy to use.
Here are a few ways to find your way around Outage Guide.
Browse at your own pace
You can read product pages and guides without creating an account. Search the catalog by brand, model, or a useful word, then narrow the results by category and specifications. Clear filters returns you to the full list for that category.
Use a keyboard
Use Tab to move through links and controls, Enter to follow a link or open a section, and Space to select a checkbox. The skip link at the top moves past navigation. On smaller screens, the Menu control opens the navigation; Escape closes it.
Compare and save
Select Compare on up to three products, then open the comparison. On a narrow screen, the comparison table scrolls sideways. Save keeps a product in your shortlist on the device you are using. A shared comparison link lets someone else open the same products.
Make the text comfortable
You can use your browser’s zoom and text-size settings. The pages adapt to smaller screens, and the planner includes a Print option for keeping a paper copy. Motion effects respect the reduced-motion preference on your device.
Tell us what gets in the way
If a control or page is difficult to use, email contact@outage.guide. Include the page, what you were trying to do, and any assistive technology or device details you are comfortable sharing.
